Computer Running Slow?

Is your computer running slow? If you are reading this article then you have probably reached the point where your computer has experienced a degradation in speed and are interested in finding out why this is and what can be done to fix it. All pc users will reach a point when they experience their computer running slow and it can arise because of more than one factor. I suppose the most common reason why you will find your computer running slow is due to the fact that there are quite a few background applications running on your windows operating system which can cause performance problems.

So let me share a technique with you that can allow you to disable any unnecessary background applications which may be taking up too much memory. Click on "Start" then "Run" and type in the phrase "msconfig". You will now be presented with the system configuration utility which will allow you to disable or enable any background programs under the "Startup" tab. Be careful when you disable programs as some may stop your system from loading proberly which could cause further problems. This should however more often than not stop your computer running slow and increase overall speed.

Apart from background applications you will also find that your registry can be the root of slow performances. This is because it stores information about software configurations which are constantly changing when you add or remove programs. This is why you should use registry cleaner tools which can automatically repair any errors on your hard drive and drastically increase responsiveness and performance.

I personally recommend Reg Cure registry cleaner which will prevent your computer from running slow by fixing any errors it may have.
